Keep Evolving to Reach Success

You can not reach top goals if you do not work towards them. You have to be constantly evolving. You should strive to take your two or three person team to a company that includes five or more people.

You have to focus and always be looking to the future. As your business grows you will need to grow your team so you can handle the new business demands. Without growth you will find it very hard to succeed if you are keeping your business at the same level as when you began.

Do not be afraid of change. Let your business grow as it needs to and push it to evolve so you can reach your goals.

Stable Four

Your real estate business has reached a stable point where everything seems to be coming together. You are confident in your abilities and in your business.

You reached the goals you set and even improved in areas like your net income. You have started to pay off debts and get a savings built up. Things are going well.

The issue now is that you are so busy you have little time for anything but your business. You are putting in well over 40 hours a week. No matter how many hours you work, though, it never seems like enough. You barely see your family and your health has started to suffer because you have no time to eat right or exercise. Stress is starting to take a toll, too.

It is time for an assistant. You need to get help so that you can start to focus in on using your unique talents instead of handling mundane tasks. It is an accomplishment to reach this point because only about 10% of all real estate agents are at this level.

Just Me Three

You have made it through some hard times and you are proud that you survived. You are self-employed and doing pretty well for yourself. It is okay to be proud of yourself. Go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back.

Just be cautious. Surviving is okay for now, but not for the long term. You do not want to just survive. You want to thrive.

You need to consider all the things you have gained and lost since you became self-employed. Look at the big picture.

In order to thrive and be a top agent you have to gain the necessary sales skills and have the desire to really work at becoming a success. Figure out what you have to do to get more leads and make more sales. You may even consider joining a team where you have others who can help you to build up your reputation and name.

Real estate is not a simple business, but you can do it. You just have to stop accepting that surviving is okay and start working towards thriving in your business.
